Renowned circus comes to Bermuda this weekend
A community activism group promised three days of family-fun thrills — all for a good cause.
Gina Spence Productions has partnered with the world-famous Super American Circus to host three performances this weekend.
A portion of ticket sales will go towards GSP’s Champions Programme, which offers help to children who have lost a parent to gun violence.
Cash will also go to the BTIA Adopt a School Programme at Paget Primary School, which allows patrons to help fund classes in receiving supplies.
Free tickets will also be offered to several charities and children’s organisations.
Super American Circus will perform in The Shed at Dockyard and feature acts such as wire-walking, motorcycle daredevil stunts and juggling.
Bermudian performers, such as the Bermuda Jump Rope Federation and aerialist Kallie Marcus, will also be featured in the shows.
Tickets start at $40 for children and $80 for adults in general admission, while preferred seating ranges from $50 for children to $100 for adults.
VIP tickets, which provide the closest view of the action with seats next to the circus ring, go for $150 all around.
Tickets can be bought at Ptix or at the Super American Circus’s homepage.
Free tickets will be offered to Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Mirrors Programme, Salvation Army Harbourlight, the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute and the Ministry of Education for children aged 12 and under.
All free children’s tickets must be accompanied by one paid adult ticket.
The event will start on Friday with shows at 5pm and 8pm, while Saturday and Sunday will have shows at 1pm, 4.30pm and 7.30pm. Saturday shows have almost sold out.
Food will be offered by Chiko & T’s Restaurant and Catering.
