The remainder of the Taste of Bermuda food festival has been cancelled because of poor weather conditions.

Both the City Hall All-White Ball that was scheduled to take place Saturday and the Tasting Village: Festival of Flavours, planned for yesterday, were called off.

A spokeswoman for the City of Hamilton said: “This decision was not made lightly but the anticipated weather conditions present significant logistical and safety concerns.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritise the wellbeing of our vendors, guests and staff.

“Further information will be issued shortly regarding ticket-holder updates for (the All-White Ball) and those who have pre-purchased tokens for the Tasting Village.”
