Bermuda’s international reggae star was in illustrious company at the weekend for the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

The fourth studio album Take It Easy from Collie Buddz put the artist in the running for top reggae album for the second consecutive year.

The album was released in September 2023 via Harper Digital Entertainment.

Ultimately, victory at the awards went to the album Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired by the Film.

The dancehall artist’s album was nominated with Vybz Kartel’s Party With Me, Shenseea’s Never Gets Late Here and The Wailers’ Evolution.

Jamaican artists Vybz Kartel and Shenseea were first-time nominees at the awards, which were hosted on Sunday by comedian and political commentator Trevor Noah.

It marked the second shot for Collie Buddz after his nomination in the 2024 Grammy Awards for his Cali Roots Riddim album.

The artist is nearing the 20-year mark since he was signed by the recording giant Sony.

His nominations alone have won Collie Buddz accolades back home for the international recognition.
