Call for community to join worship event in St George’s

Bermuda will join a global celebration of dance tomorrow evening at the East End with an open-air religious service.

Nikita Robinson, of The Worship Room radio show on Magic 102.7FM and director of the One Body in Christ Movement for God’s Purpose Creative Arts Ministry, said: “I am excited that we will be in person at the Unesco World Heritage Site, King's Square in St George’s, for one hour from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, giving God all honour, glory and praise.”

The group will mark International Dance Day “Bermy Style“ and have invited the public to join them.

Ms Robinson said the suggested dress for the evening was a Bermuda T-shirt or spiritual T-shirt and any type of loose bottoms.

She advised those joining the group in dance to wear white loose attire, with double palazzo trousers preferred or palazzo under dress, and white sneakers.

The event will close out at 6.45pm with a line dance under the theme “God’s not through blessing you, Bermuda”.
