Updated: Feb 18, 2019 02:29 PM
The Bermuda Audubon Society is holding a bluebird box construction workshop this Saturday.
The workshop will take place in the Jack King Building at the Botanical Gardens from 10am.
There will be a brief talk about bluebirds, why they require boxes and how to best monitor the box during nesting season.
Participants can buy a kit at the workshop for $25 and will receive instruction and assistance in building it.
Anyone wishing to build a box should bring a hammer if possible though there will be a limited number available to borrow.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration for the workshop should be made in advance by e-mailing info@audubon.bm or by calling 238-8628.
