Environmental charity Greenrock helped Bermuda celebrate Earth Hour with the rest of the world.

Eugene Dean, Greenrock chairman, was pleased with the turnout in Dockyard for a range of entertainment, glow yoga and the signature 5K Glow Walk on Saturday.

Mr Dean said: “Overall, the event was very well received and we look forward to building upon its success next year.

“Educational information was shared in the lead up to the event with the community via numerous radio interviews and our free educational expo featuring energy efficient technologies.”

He said the charity hopes to get more people involved — both in the event and in the charity — in the coming year to help spread the message of energy efficiency and conservation.
