BUEI to hold series of free ‘Climate Cinema’ documentary screenings
People can enjoy free documentary screenings at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute throughout October.
The documentaries will be screened as part of the BUEI’s second annual “Climate Cinema” series.
A statement from BUEI said: “BUEI’s ‘Climate Cinema’ is a showcase of short and feature length environmental films selected to engage the entire community in the climate conversation in the lead-up to this year’s youth climate summit.”
Each film in the series will focus on people throughout the world taking action on issues like conservation, sustainability and climate justice.
The short films, which will be shown on rotation throughout the month, will focus on either Mother Nature, Water is Life, Sustainable Living or Climate Generation.
A full length feature film will also be screened, followed by a discussion and Q and A session with the film-makers.
This year’s feature films will be“Kiss the Ground”, “Youth Unstoppable,” “The Power of Us” and “SLAY.”
The screenings will be every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October and are aimed at everyone aged 12 and above.
