Ship loses 46 containers overboard in bad weather

Mariners have been warned to keep an eye out after more than 40 empty shipping containers were washed off a passing vessel.
According to an incident report, the Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre was contacted on Friday by the merchant vessel MSC Shristi, a container ship travelling from Boston to the Dominican Republic.
The report said the the ship lost 45 empty shipping containers when they were swept overboard on three separate occasions during bad weather when it was about 350 nautical miles east of Bermuda.
