The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service recently joined forces with the Keep Bermuda Beautiful charity to spruce up Whalebone Bay at Ferry Reach in St George's.

The clean-up took place last Friday and was led by Chief Fire Officer Dana Lovell, with KBB's executive director, Angel Smith.

A total of 15 volunteers took part, collecting nine garbage bags, two recycle bags and various bulk items.

According to a spokesman, the collaboration highlighted the BFRS's commitment to community engagement and environmental stewardship.
