Halloran-Smith to lead dressage programme

Dressage coach: Halloran-Smith

The Bermuda Equestrian Federation has appointed Angela Halloran-Smith as Bermuda’s dressage coach.

Halloran-Smith has competed and coached in Bermuda and the United States at all levels of the sport, including Grand Prix, for more than 25 years.

She recently attended the FEI Judges’ Refresher course in London, as well as two FEI National Judges/National Coaches courses in Trinidad.

As part of her new role, Halloran-Smith is to develop a thriving, competitive and inclusive Bermuda dressage community. It will include the development of a medium-term dressage plan focusing on the growth of this discipline at the national level, as well as the development of local riders and coaches.

Halloran-Smith is the president of the Bermuda Dressage Group, a “B” director of the Bermuda Equestrian Federation, senior dressage trainer and stable manager at Hinson Hall Stables in Devonshire.
