Challenge set for Vesey Street
Bermuda dressage enthusiasts are gearing up for the FEI World Dressage Challenge to be held at the National Equestrian Centre, Vesey Street, Devonshire, on Saturday.
The competition enables local dressage riders to compete against other participating countries without the expense of having to travel overseas.
Dressage tests to be performed at the event include the Prix St George test, as well as advanced, medium and youth tests. In addition to world and regional classifications for each dressage test level, the competition also offers a world team classification.
Countries have until the end of next month to hold their competitions, so Bermuda will have to wait until next year to learn of the final placings.
The compulsory veterinary check will be take place at 10am, with the first test scheduled for 11.30am.
Judging the event will be FEI Judges Mercedes Campdera, of Mexico, and Brenda Minor, of Canada.
