Bermuda’s Cody Rego, Skyla White and Julia Slade have qualified to compete in the upcoming 2022 ASPCA Maclay finals.
The ASPCA Maclay Championship is one of the most prestigious competitions in the United States for junior riders aged 18 and under, with hundreds competing in numerous regional competitions to qualify.
The championship will be held during the National Horse Show at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington from October 26 to November 6, and is considered to be one of the most competitive classes in the show.
This will be Rego’s second occasion to compete in the ASPCA finals, having previously competed last year, when he notably finished seventh.
