Bermuda’s Tyler James is gaining valuable experience at the 2025 Ocala Winter Festival.

James, who trains with Wendy Arndt at International Equestrian Connections in South Carolina, is riding two horses, Vino Blanco and Remington Bay, at the World Equestrian Centre in Florida, which is hosting a mammoth programme of events between January 1 and March 23.

Facing more than 30 competitors in the hunter ring, James and Remington Bay secured commendable finishes of second and fifth.

Vino Blanco, also owned by James, competed in the 1.20m Amateur Jumping division, finishing in a decent fifth place.

Writing on Instagram, James was pleased with the feel he was given by Vino Blanco.

“Thank you to my parents and Wendy,” he said.

“I was glad to be back with Vino and thank you to the team for helping keep him in shape.”
