The island’s unsung heroes who leave a lasting impact on the lives of children will be the beneficiaries of a light-hearted fundraising raffle on Sunday.

Love is Love Bermuda is to host the event from noon to 3pm at Bolero Brasserie on Front Street for the Bermuda Foster Parents Association’s holiday programme.

The charity raffle will go towards gifts for the foster parents’ body.

A spokesman said the raffle was available only to attendees.

However, people can also donate by contacting Love is Love Bermuda at loveislovebda@gmail.com.

Organisers said the ugliest sweater or Christmas costume wins a prize — the more creative, the better.

Tickets cost $80 per person with gratuities already included, but spaces are limited.

Patrons will each receive a complimentary cocktail or mocktail and the organisers said everyone was welcome to attend.
