Emirates Team New Zealand helmsman Peter Burling announced that, based on weather forecasts for the coming days, his team have chosen to race against Sir Ben Ainslie’s Land Rover BAR in the Louis Vuitton Playoff Semi-finals.

That leaves Artemis Racing and SoftBank Team Japan to face each other in the other semi-final.

Groupama Team France were eliminated from the Qualifiers, while Oracle Team USA step out of the play-off competition taking a point into the America’s Cup Match.

The Playoff Semi-finals start tomorrow at 2pm.

Wind forecasts are varied between models. One says 7kts from the north at 2pm, another says 7 going to 4kts, and still another predicts 4 going to 3kts.
