West Ham United Academy to play in Bermuda competition
The Bermuda Triangle Cup will have Premier League representation next month with the academy of West Ham United heading to the island to compete.
Bermuda Sports International, the organisers of the event which takes place from July 24 to July 28 at North Field, National Sports Centre, announced today that West Ham’s future stars will be part of the tournament.
“BSI welcomes @westham Academy to the island for the 2024 Triangle Cup,’’ BSI said on Instagram.
“We’re looking forward to the competition this year and the opportunity for each team to learn from each other in preparation for the 2024-2025 season.”
The English club are the second international side confirmed for the Triangle Cup after US side Charlotte FC’s academy were announced as participants in February. Charlotte made their debut last year and lost to Bermuda under-17 in the final.
