Sincere Hall strikes late to salvage a draw for Hull City in friendly
Sincere Hall grabbed a late equaliser to salvage a 1-1 draw for Hull City’s senior squad in their first preseason friendly against Turkish Süper Lig outfit Kasimpasa on Saturday.
The Bermuda forward kept his composure as he took a touch from fellow academy player Nathan Tinsdale’s cross before slotting home from inside the six-yard box with eight minutes remaining to cancel out Aytac Kara’s 65th minute glancing header.
“It’s always good to get a goal,” Hall said on Hull City’s official X account.
“I was very happy with my assist partner, Nathan, from the under 21s and it’s always good to score
Hall has been retained by the Sky Bet Championship side for the upcoming 2024-25 season after agreeing to the terms of a new one-year deal, with the club holding the option of a further 12 months.
The 20-year-old impressed with his creativity when playing for the Tigers’ under-21s last season and earned the Tigers' Goal of the Month award for March for his brilliant finish against Birmingham City under-21s.
Hall, who also spent a month on loan with Northern Premier League Division Guiseley, signed his first professional contract at Hull City in June 2022 and is one of four academy players whose services were retained for the upcoming campaign.
