“We were able to do a tour around the different rooms and went outside to socialise with other national championship teams from all over the country at all levels and divisions.

“One of our own players, Jordynn Dudley, was able to walk out with Vice-President Kamala Harris and perform a speech right beside her, so that was really cool to experience with her.

“The rest of the team didn't get to speak with the vice-president or obviously the president in person, but it was just nice to hear the words that they had to say.”

Freshman Dudley spoke on balancing life as a student-athlete and the ability to compete on and off the field.

Vice-president Harris was making her first public appearance since President Biden dropped his re-election campaign and endorsed her to run as the Democratic nominee gaainst former President Donald Trump.
