Bermuda off to Under-14 CFU Challenge Series in Trinidad

Bermuda will kick off their 2024 Under-14 Boys Caribbean Football Union Challenge Series Qualifying campaign in Trinidad and Tobago this week.

The Bermuda Football Association has announced a 20-member squad that has been pitted in Tier II Group C along with Sint Maarten, St Lucia, Bonaire and Grenada.

They will begin their qualifying campaign on Friday against Bonaire before taking on Grenada 24 hours later, Sint Maarten on Sunday and St Lucia the following day.

The tournament, which concludes on August 24, will feature a group stage followed by the knockout rounds involving the three group winners and the best runners-up.

The under-14 squad, accompanied by head coach Vashun Blanchette, departs for Trinidad today.

The competition follows on the heels of last week’s League B Concacaf Girls Under-15 Championship in Trinidad where Bermuda secured a remarkable fifth position out of 16 teams involved.
