Bermudian footballers round-up as Nathan Trott excels again

Kane Crichlow celebrates scoring for Chelmsford City

Goalkeeper Nathan Trott helped FC Copenhagen up to second in the Danish Superliga after they recorded a 2-1 win against Vejle BK on Sunday.

Victory leaves Copenhagen with 24 points from ten games, four behind league leaders Midtjylland. Trott will next be in action against Polish side Jagiellonia Białystok in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.

LeiLanni Nesbeth came on as an 86th minute substitute as Chicago Red Stars were defeated 3-1 by North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League.

Nahki Wells came on as a 68th minute substitute as Bristol City salvaged a 1-1 draw away at Swansea City on Sunday. Bristol City were a goal down when Wells came on but they equalised in the 78th minute through Jason Knight. Wells was booked in added time.

Coach Khano Smith’s Rhode Island FC are up to sixth in the USL Championship after producing a fine 3-1 win over San Antonio on Saturday.

Kane Crichlow scored in the 64th minute as Chelmsford City beat Bromsgrove Sporting 2-1 in the FA Cup third qualifying round. Crichlow struck in the second half to give his side a two-goal advantage before their opponents scored a consolation goal in added time.

Deniche Hill came on as a 61st minute substitute for Leicester City’s under-21 team as they beat Stoke 4-0 on Friday night.

While Hall was knocked out, compatriot Keziah Martin helped Rushall Olympic into the fourth qualifying round as they beat Anstey Nomads 2-1. Martin was involved in a well-worked short corner routine that led to Rushall’s first goal.

Jahzyiah Samuels Williams played her part as Bury women beat Salford City women 4-0 in the North West Womens Regional League.
