The stage is set for some of the Premier Division’s less-heralded teams to make it into the Dudley Eve Trophy final tonight.

After powerhouses PHC failed to qualify out of their group and North Village were docked three points for fielding ineligible goalkeeper Detre Bell in the early stages of the competition, Hamilton Parish, Paget, Young Men’s Social Club and Devonshire Colts will compete in a semi-final double-header at PHC Field.

The first semi-final at 7pm features Social Club, who made it through to the knockout rounds after they were awarded a 3-0 victory courtesy of Village’s administrative error, taking on Paget.

The second semi-final, which is scheduled to start at 9pm, features Devonshire Colts, who lost for the first time in league football in more than a year against Dandy Town at the weekend, taking on Hamilton Parish.

Parish were the only unbeaten team in the group stage, but have struggled of late, losing their last two games to Paget and PHC.
