Bermuda's most talented young female footballers have started their journey to Puerto Rico.

The island’s under-17 team left the island to complete preparations for the Concacaf Women’s under-17 Qualifiers.

That competition takes place in Mayaguez, with Gary Adams’s squad facing three matches, with the first game in their group coming against Cayman Islands on Monday, January 27.

That is followed 48 hours later with a match against St Vincent & The Grenadines, with the final group fixture coming against the host nation on Friday, January 31.

The top team from each group, along with the two best second-place finishers, will advance to the final round of the qualifiers, with the top four teams from there earning a place at the under-17 women’s World Cup, which will be held in Morocco in October.
