Sincere Hall at the double
Sincere Hall, the Hull City Under-21 forward, netted two goals and provided an assist in his team’s 3-1 victory over Fleetwood Town in the Professional Development League.
The senior national team player scored in the 42nd and 45th minutes and set up team-mate Lucas Dawson’s 53rd minute strike to complete the Tigers’ comeback after Mikey Lane had given the hosts an early lead at Poolfoot Farm.
“It felt good to be back on the pitch, especially to get the win for my team and contributing with two goals and an assist,” an elated Hall told The Royal Gazette.
Town striker Lane broke the deadlock in the tenth minute when he buried midfielder Dannen Francis’s cross. But Hall struck twice inside three minutes to turn the game on its head and give the visitors a 2-1 advantage at half-time.
Midfielder Dawson scored Hull City’s third shortly after the restart with Hall having a say in the goal that put the game beyond the hosts reach.
Hall and his team-mates are second in the Professional Development League standings, three points adrift of leaders Sheffield United Under-21.
He initially signed for Hull City in 2022 and the Sky Bet Championship side retained his services for the 2024-25 season after he impressed with the under-21s last season. Hall has agreed a new one-year deal, with the club holding the option of a further 12 months.
The 20-year-old also featured in West Ham United’s Academy and the Kinetic Academy, a foundation based in South London to develop young players and help them into professional academies, before joining Hull City.
Hall made his senior national team debut for Bermuda in their Group B Concacaf Nations League fixtures against Guyana and Haiti in 2023.
