A rematch of last year’s FA Cup final will take place in this season’s quarter-finals.

St George’s, who won the trophy for the first time in 2024, will take on North Village in a repeat of last season’s showpiece, in which three Village players were sent off as St George’s ran out 4-1 winners.

Jonté Smith proved the star man for St George’s, scoring a hat-trick, but will be on the opposing side this time around after joining Village in the summer.

The tie between the finalists from year was the standout match drawn as the last eight teams in the tournament found out their opponents at the Bermuda Football Association’s headquarters on Thursday.

The last First Division side remaining in the competition, St David’s, will take on Paget with Young Men’s Social Club taking on Devonshire Cougars and Hamilton Parish drawn at home to PHC.

The matches will be played on either Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14 or Saturday, February 15 in order to avoid a clash with the under-17 World Cup qualifiers taking place on island that week.

Bermuda’s promising young team will be taking on Canada in the final game of the group stages at 8pm on Sunday, February 16 at Flora Duffy Stadium.
