North Village head coach Calvin Dill Jr is not worried by the FA Cup semi-final draw, which featured his side matched with PHC.

After Paget and Devonshire Cougars were picked out first by Shannon Burgess, the Bermuda Football Association competitions committee chairman, at the Clyde Best Centre of Excellence it became clear that the most successful teams in the competition with 11 titles each, could not be separated.

The semi-finals are scheduled to take place on March 14 and 16 at venues that are still to be decided by the BFA leadership.

Village and PHC are still on the hunt for a double this season, with both teams still in contention for the league championship.

“I had a feeling that we would get PHC in the semi-finals, so we have to be ready for the fight,” Dill said.

“A lot of their players will be thinking of last year when PHC spoilt their league title. As a coaching department, we’ll do our best to get the players ready for the challenge.

“Every match going forward is a final for us. That is the only approach that can work if we want to win trophies.”
