The results leaves Trojans third in the First Division standings with 17 points, seven points adrift of second=place Boulevard, but with a game in hand over their rivals.
Trojans were forced to chase the game when Spencer put X-Roads in front in the fourteenth minute.
Wade levelled the scores seven minutes later before Mills grabbed his first goal in the 42nd minute to earn the away side the lead at the interval.
Mills then added a second in the 75th minute to put the game beyond the reach of X-Roads, who clinched the title and promotion to the top tier next season, courtesy of a 4-1 demolition of Boulevard in their previous outing.
In the remaining First Division encounter played over the weekend, Tokia Bean scored the winner as Robin Hood edged Vasco 1-0 at Goose Gosling Field on Saturday night.
Bean pounced in the 32nd minute and his side managed to preserve their advantage to secure the points.
Cecoy Robinson, the Hood coach, was delighted with the result and the progress that some of the younger players in his squad have made this season.
“Saturday’s win is just a testament to the growth of the young players and how much they have improved over the course of the season,” he told The Royal Gazette.
“For the most part of the season the majority of our players are 16 and 17 years old and, with the playing time and information they have received, we have been reaping the rewards of results in the second half of the season.
“The likes of Tokia Bean, Sami Carolo, Keori Binns, Olek Lipinski and others have really matured throughout the season, and Robin Hood is benefiting from it.”
