Kane Crichlow named player of season for Chelmsford City
Kane Crichlow has picked up three awards at Chelmsford City’s end-of-season ceremony.
The Bermuda forward produced a clean sweep of the top honours for the National League South team, picking up the players’ player of the season, manager Robbie Simpson’s player of the season and the supporters’ player of the season awards.
Crichlow has had a fantastic season for Chelmsford and is the club’s joint-top scorer. He is also the only player to have scored a hat-trick this season, with his goals helping his team to twelfth spot in the National League South with one game to play. Their final match of the season takes place on Saturday away at Weymouth.
The pacy player has also been a regular under coach Michael Findlay for the national team and has put in a string of fine performances in the last 18 months.
Crichlow was named one of the top performers in the region after scoring against Dominican Republic and Antigua & Barbuda in the Concacaf Nations League September window. He also found the net in the first minute against Honduras in the recent Gold Cup preliminary round play-offs.
