Bermuda College Circle has been renamed BF&M Circle in recognition of contributions made by the company to the Bermuda College Foundation.

In 2022, BF&M committed $75,000 to the foundation over a three-year period.

Garry Madeiros, the chairman of the foundation, said: “Philanthropic partnerships such as the one we are developing with BF&M are critical to ensuring equitable access to quality education and professional development opportunities for Bermudians. It is gratifying to be able to publicly recognise BF&M’s gift by naming one of the main campus thoroughfares in their honour.”

Phyllis Curtis-Tweed, vice-president, academic and student affairs, Bermuda College, added: “The financial support of community partners is of paramount importance to ensuring Bermuda College’s sustainability in fulfilling its mission to provide innovative educational opportunities. Many thanks to BF&M for their investment in Bermuda College, which will have a far-reaching and transformative impact on the lives of our students.”
