Sinead Donovan speaks at 100 Women of Finance breakfast
A discussion breakfast on women's achievements in the finance sector was held by 100 Women of Finance in Bermuda.
Sinead Donovan, partner and chairperson at Grant Thornton Ireland and president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, spoke at the event.
She was the first woman partner at Grant Thornton. "Sinead's story truly inspired us, and her insights resonated amongst attendees at the event.
“Sinead's experiences have undoubtedly elevated the conversation surrounding women's achievements and wellbeing in the finance industry, and her wisdom will continue to guide and empower our community in the pursuit of excellence and positive change," said Alison Morrison, chairperson, 100 Women in Finance Bermuda.
Ms Donovan said she had many opportunities and faced many challenges throughout her career and provided insights into the workings of multinational companies reporting in many countries.
"We were thrilled to have Sinead join us for this empowering session. Her wisdom and experiences have undoubtedly inspired positive change in the finance industry and inspired our attendees at the event with her candid discussion on her career journey,“ said Niamh Meenan, partner at Grant Thornton.
