Apex opening Denver office
Apex Group is opening an office in Denver in order to serve clients in the area and add to its already substantial US presence.
The financial services company founded in Bermuda said it already has teams on the ground in Denver and aims to double its local headcount.
Focuses of the new office will include fund administration, fund-raising, corporate solutions and custody. It is seeking to speak with potential candidates with fund administration, accounting and corporate services experience.
Apex was founded in Bermuda in 2003. It has 94 offices worldwide and more than 12,000 employees in 38 countries.
The company continues to expand in terms of geography and offerings.
In July, it purchased a company in Japan to expand its presence there, and purchased a global proptech company.
In 2021, the company acquired Greenough Consulting Group, adding 50 employees from the California finance, accounting, and human resources services business and bringing its US headcount 600. It now has 15 American offices.
“With offices across the US, we understand the importance of proximity – for both our clients and our employees and are excited to announce Denver as the latest addition to our US office network.
“With its established, growing and thriving closed-end fund market, our Denver office will address the demand for a locally delivered, tech-enabled single-source solution,” said Georges Archibald, chief innovation officer & regional managing director, Americas.
James Wheatley, global head of operations, private equity & direct lending, added: “Denver continues to be a prominent and attractive hub for private equity and real assets funds due to the supportive business environment, entrepreneurial and highly skilled workforce and sophisticated financial services ecosystem.
“I look forward to exploring the organic growth opportunities and to leading and growing our talented and experienced local team.”
