Island arbitration body appoints new committee members
A professional body for dispute avoidance and management has appointed new Bermuda committee members.
Warren Bank, the chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Bermuda branch, said: “I am honoured to have been elected to chair this prestigious body, which performs a crucial role in facilitating and promoting arbitration in Bermuda.
“We are considering some exciting new avenues of engagement that, once operational, will bring streamlined and effective alternative dispute resolution to the business and general community.”

The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators is the world’s leading qualifications and professional body for dispute avoidance and dispute management, including mediation and arbitration.
Globally, the institute has a growing membership of more than 17,000 across 149 countries. It is supported by an international network of 41 branches. The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Bermuda branch has a membership of approximately 48 members and 18 fellows.
The committee for the Bermuda branch works to promote the use of arbitration and mediation in Bermuda by providing information, offering trainings and appointments for arbitrations and mediations in Bermuda.
