Section of South Road to be shut for work next week

A section of South Road will be closed to traffic from next week for repair work to be carried out.
The section, near the Paget traffic lights, will be shut to westbound traffic next Tuesday and Wednesday between 9.30am and 2.30pm so a roadside wall can be repaired.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works said: “Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use an alternative detour route via Middle Road during these times.
“There will not be any disruption to the eastbound lane while these works take place. Bus services are not expected to be affected.”
