Ministry to close early for Financial Secretary’s funeral
Updated: Jan 26, 2021 07:37 PM
The finance ministry will close at noon tomorrow to allow staff to pay their respects to Anthony Manders, the Financial Secretary, who died earlier this month.
A spokeswoman said the move would allow staff at the ministry headquarters to join the virtual funeral service.
Other offices under the ministry, including the Accountant General, Social Insurance, the Office of the Tax Commissioner and the Registrar of Companies, will also close early.
They will reopen as normal on Thursday morning.
