A Bermudian woman has been admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Hannah Keane graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a Bachelor of Laws degree.

She later studied at the BPP College of Law, where she completed her bar exams and was admitted to the Inner Temple in 2014.

Ms Keane, 28, originally from Warwick, worked with both the Department of Public Prosecutions and Marshall, Diel & Myers when home on holiday.

The former Warwick Academy pupil later worked as a paralegal at the UK law firm Devonshires for two years before she returned to the BPP College of Law and qualified as a solicitor.

Ms Keane was admitted to the senior courts of England and Wales on January 29 and has started work in the housing management and property litigation department at London-based law firm Devonshires.
