Bermuda was put in the spotlight at a United Arab Emirates prep school recently as part of a student project for International Day.
German-Bermudian twins Kassandra and Julian Borchardt highlighted Bermuda’s history, culture and shorts in their video presentation created for Arcadia Preparatory School’s International Day.
The siblings, both wearing Bermuda shirts, also discuss the island’s brightly coloured buildings, holidays like Cup Match and the iconic Gombeys.
They also note that their father – former Cambridge Beaches chef Stefan Borchard – won a Bermuda fish chowder competition in Bermuda.
The video was produced by their Bermudian mother, Julie Matthews-Borchardt.
