Anti-racism charity launches online fundraiser
Updated: Mar 21, 2021 03:19 PM
An antiracism charity today launched a two-week online fundraiser instead of its traditional tag day.
The Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda appeal will coincide with the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The event will run on Facebook and Instagram.
A CURB spokesman said: “Any amount of support that the public can offer during the charity’s 2021 Tag Day two-week fundraiser is wholeheartedly appreciated by the entire CURB volunteer team and is received most gratefully.”
Donations can also be to Curb’s account at Bank of Butterfield, a/c 20006060952140100.
For more information or to work with the charity, e-mail admin@uprootingracism.org or call 707-1496.
