New Easter displays have been installed at the Crow Lane and Trimingham Hill roundabouts near Hamilton.

The decorations, set up by the Ministry of Public Works, include Easter eggs decorated by schoolchildren and Easter bunnies, in addition to plants and flower displays.

A spokesman for the ministry said: “School students from Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy, Elliot Primary, West Pembroke Primary, St George’s Prep and Purvis Primary decorated the eggs.

“The Department of Parks staff decorated the bunnies.

“The Ministry of Public Works thanks the school students for their exceptionally creative egg designs and the Department of Park’s team for decorating the bunnies and installing the displays for all to enjoy.”
