A gale warning has been issued for late tonight by the Bermuda Weather Service.

Drivers were told to use caution on the roads over tonight, when winds from the island’s west could pack storm force gusts after midnight.

Winds are forecast veer northwesterly towards dawn.

BWS also gave a thunderstorm advisory.

A small craft warning remains in effect through Thursday night.
