Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries

Police last night blocked off the road near Shelly Bay after a crash that left a motorcyclist with what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
At about 9pm, a male rider was headed west when a motorcycle collided with a car east near the junction with Studio Lane.
The rider, who came off his bike, was taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for serious injuries that are believed to be life threatening.
