The post office in Southampton will be temporarily closed for extensive renovations from Monday, August 30, to early December.

A spokeswoman for the Bermuda Post Office said: “The much needed renovations include, but are not limited to, expansive floor repairs, plumbing upgrades and electrical work.”

The last day of business before closure will be Friday August 27, between 8am to 4pm.

During the closure period, postal services for Southampton Post Office customers will be as follows:

• Southampton (SN) PO Box mail and parcel mail will be available for collection from front counters services at the Warwick Post Office from Monday to Friday between 8am and 4PM; and

• Southampton letter mail (postcodes SN01-04) will continue to be delivered, as addressed, to customers by post persons from Monday to Friday.
