Custom-designed drink raises funds for Mirrors

Friends and alumni of the Mirrors Programme accept a donation from Take Five Limited for the cause of Bermuda’s young people (Photograph supplied)

A restaurant business gave back to the island’s young people to the tune of $2,000 through sales of a custom summer drink.

Take Five, the parent company of takeaway firm Buzz, gave a boost to the Mirrors Alumni and Friends Association with the proceeds from donations added to purchases of a mango lemonade drink sold in August.

MAFA backs the government-run personal development Mirrors Programme for young people.

Scott Taylor, Take Five’s general manager, said the drink went down a treat with customers.

He added: “We wish the Mirrors Programme continued success with the wonderful work they are doing and the service they provide.”
