Government online services to be suspended for maintenance

Online services provided by the Government will halt for several hours tomorrow night for upgrades to be made.

A spokesman for the Department of Information and Digital Technologies said the a range of government services will go offline at 11.55pm on Friday night and are expected to be back in service at 4.30am on Saturday.

The spokesman explained: “IDT will be conducting scheduled maintenance and upgrades to the current government online platforms.

“The Department of IDT is making every effort to conduct these necessary upgrades during a time frame that will cause as minimal disruption as possible.”

Services expected to be unavailable include:

· Travel Authorisation Forms

· General internet services

· Access to Cloud drives

· WebEx

· E-mail

· The Department of Planning

· Unemployment Benefits online forms

· The Government portal
