Footage of a pig on the loose in various locations last night proved a surprise social media hit.

The full-grown porker was filmed at a variety of locations by startled onlookers earlier yesterday, including what appeared to be St George’s.

Some of the footage showed the pig nosing around on the doorstep of a house.

But despite the interest in the porcine prowler it was not known if the owner had been tracked down or if the animal had run all the way home.
