Man taken to hospital after bike, cars involved in crash

A man suffered a serious head injury after a crash involving a motorcycle and two cars yesterday.
The injured man, who was on the motorbike, was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
A police spokesman said: “Neither of the motor car drivers were injured in the collision but there was extensive from end damage to both of their vehicles.”
The crash happened at about 8.30am on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish close to Shelly Bay and near the junction with Lemon Grove Road.
The road was blocked off while police experts examined the scene and road users were advised to use alternative routes.
