The death of a man found at a home in Hamilton is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.

The body of the 70-year-old man, who has not been named, was found at a home on Victoria Street just after 3pm on Saturday.

A police spokesman said that the scene was forensically processed by officers and an investigation has started.

The spokesman added: “An autopsy is anticipated in due course to determine cause of death. However, foul play is not suspected at this time.

“The Bermuda Police Service is aware of social media posts circulating regarding the deceased. Anyone who may have information regarding the deceased, in particular his movements prior to his death, is encouraged to call police on 211.

“No further information will be given until the next of kin have been notified.”
