Summer Sunday fun days set for comeback in Hamilton
Live music and entertainment will come to Victoria Park next month as the City of Hamilton brings back its Summer Sunday event series.
Tamara Smith, senior events and marketing co-ordinator at the City of Hamilton, said the free July 17 event will include live entertainment, local bands, carnival games, dance troupes, Gombeys and a variety of vendors.
Ms Smith said: “The last time this event was held was in 2019 and we are pleased to bring it back as it was a beloved summer event for the Bermuda public.
“The goal this year is to continue the expansion of the ‘Summer Sunday’ concept by adding even more kid-friendly activities, prize competitions and interactive elements for the entire family.”
The event will also feature a special “dunk tank” fundraiser intended to bolster Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
Summer Sunday: City Funday is scheduled to run from 1pm to 6pm on July 17. However, a rain date has been set for July 24.
