Commenting on www.royalgazette.com has been restored.

Commenting was disabled this month after a technical problem arose with the way that commenters’ names were displayed.

Royal Gazette technical staff and outside vendors have now developed and tested a solution which appears to have fixed the problem.

If any users find that their commenting name does not display as they expected, they should e-mail support@royalgazette.com

To monitor the situation, the number of stories on which commenting is permitted will be limited over the next few days.
