Donations were made to a charity that supports young men from another helping organisation as it celebrated its 15th anniversary.

Tomorrow's Voices, Bermuda Autism Early Intervention Centre, marked the milestone on Saturday by supporting Transitional Community Services.

TCS aims to meet the needs of disenfranchised men aged between 18 and 34.

A Tomorrow’s Voices spokeswoman said: “As a fellow charity, Tomorrow’s Voices has great joy in aiding other charities.

“With this said, Tomorrow's Voices celebrated their anniversary by taking part in a community giveback donation. ”

She explained: “Parents and clients from each of Tomorrow's Voices’ various programmes donated personal hygiene products.

“Tomorrow's Voices Thriving Beyond 21 adult day programme sorted all the donations and made soaps to donate to the cause.”

The charity’s Social Skills group delivered the goods on Saturday to TCS, which provides tailored support for young men through advocacy, care management, counselling and skills development.

Jahnae Harvey, the senior verbal behaviour therapist at Tomorrow’s Voices, said: "A part of social skills is community service and giving back.

“We are happy to provide our learners with an opportunity to engage in a community giveback project."
