Police confirm sudden death of 32-year-old Faisal Baia
Police today confirmed the death of 32-year-old Faisal Baia, whose body was found in Blue Hole Park yesterday.
Mr Baia’s body was discovered at the park in Hamilton Parish at about 11am. He was pronounced dead at the scene by an on-call doctor.
A police spokesman said: “Foul play is not suspected. However, an autopsy is anticipated.
“A Bermuda Police Service family liaison officer is providing support to Mr Baia’s loved ones at this difficult time.”
Police had earlier appealed for help to locate Mr Baia, whose last-known contact was said to have been just after 11pm on Sunday.

Mr Baia, originally from Morocco, was employed at The Loren at Pink Beach in Smith’s.
According to his social-media profile, Mr Baia worked in the resort’s front office as the reservations and revenue manager.
