UK postal delay to Bermuda after Royal Mail hit by computer glitch

Mail sent out of the UK has been hit by delays following a computer glitch which has caused “a severe service disruption“.
According to a Government spokeswoman, Royal Mail is temporarily unable to dispatch letters and small parcels to overseas destinations, including Bermuda.
The spokeswoman said: “Additionally, some customers may experience delays or disruption to mail items that have already shipped for export. The BPO advised that the Royal Mail is working to resolve the matter.”
